Ice caves are a fascinating world. I’ve been exploring them since I was a young kid and finding new ways to photograph them has been a fun challenge. This image was taken underneath the Mendenhall glacier in Juneau, Alaska. I used a flare to create the strong contrast with the deep blue of the ice.
