It’s hard to say how many times I’ve ventured to the Mendenhall glacier. Every time yields something new and different. It’s extremely rare to have perfectly calm water in front of the glacier on a sunny day, but this happened to be exactly what I was looking for. The mirror image of the glacier and mountain combined with some newly formed ice on a rock for a fantastic moment in time.
