I usually know what to expect when I visit an area, but the Dolomites of Italy far exceeded my wildest dreams. After spending multiple hours hiking in the snow, I found this small chapel. I’m not quite sure when it’s open, but it has one of the best views on earth. As the blue hour was about to shift into sunrise the first rays lit up the face. Easily one of my favorite sunrises of all time. This chapel in the mountains will always remind me of that morning.
